and on with the show! :)

Angela looked through her window in the palace. Her room was that of stone
with raised ceilings and wooden beams. Some simple wood furniture,
auctioned on the mortal plain would have been prized, most from the 900's
and some further. Her bed a simple wooden frame and white sheets and
comforters. In all her years of life, spanning thousands of years, she had
different room styles, this suited her for the time being.
The sun was setting on the Avalon horizon. She looked at the ivory
and gold inlay flute on a red velvet pillow. She took it out. She sat on
the window sill and played a simple tune. Light and merry. Crisp and
sweet.
A pegasus flew closer to the window while she played it, yet
keeping its distance. The waves crashed on the shore line and the sweet
melody of birds, rare and mythological, filled the air. She put down the
flute and continues to gaze from the window. Soon night fell and she came
out of her room. As she began to go downstairs she saw Puck and tried to
appear downstairs when he saw her.
"Oh no." she groaned as a smile played her lips.
"Does thou wish to pursue merriment with the enlightened Puck?"
"Puck, your not 'Enlightened'. If you were you would know we
haven't spoken in old english for a millennia or so."
"Okay, I get your point. Anyways, would you like to go to the
mortal realm and look for some fun?" he held out his hand.
"Puck, the last time I went to the mortal realm with you I was
burned at the stake."
"So we wont go to Salem," he muttered, "They're no fun anyways."
She laughed and took his hand, "But I am bored."
"Wonderful!" and with that they left to the mortal realm.

Hadji looked over the balcony into the lush courtyard. Filled with
exotic plants and a beautiful white ivory fountain, rumored to be over two
hundred years old. It was inlaid with pearls and some were stolen and
replaced with faux pearls, though some real ones were still inlaid. The
beautiful exotic plants and flowers were in full bloom. Red and yellow and
pink flowers dotted the lush green. He looked over the palace walls to see
a small menagerie of animals coming this way, in front was a luxuriously
decorated elephant with a seat on top, holding a man with a dark blue
turban and a scantly dresses woman, his wife, Hadji guessed. It wasn't
uncommon for a older man to wed a younger woman, or several younger women
for that matter. He walked into his room and went downstairs to find his
mother looking into the court yard, practically glowing.
"Mother, who are they?" he asked. She looked at him and smiled
more than she had before.
"Did you see the young woman in front? What did you think of her?
She is from a very important political family, and she is rich and strong.
She is very beautiful as well."
"Yes, she seems very well brought up, and is quite lovely, but why
should this matter?" She beamed even more.
"She is your future wife! You were betrothed from birth! Oh, she
will make excellent babies!" Hadji was stunned.
	"Your joking right mother?"
"No Hadji, now clean up a little, they will be here any minute!"
"Mother, I cannot go through with this.. You have never even
discussed it with me."
"What is to discus? Betrothals have always been arranged, that is
how it was with your father and I."
"But mother, I was not raised with those beliefs. I want to marry
because of love."
"That is a silly American ideal, they also created divorce, we
have neither and look at how happy people are."
"Mother please, respect my wishes. I want to marry whom I wish."
"Such as Jessie Bannon?" Hadji looked at his mother.
"Why are you bringing Jessie into this?"
"She is obviously in love with you, and you share the same
feelings. She has some breeding, a famous archeologist and she has some
money, not as much as we, but some. She is almost family to the Quests-"
"I am a Quest, she is like a sister to me. And the love we share
is as brother and sister, she takes care of me as I do her." he replied
tiredly.
	"She might disagree."
"Mother. Jessie does not care for me. She has already decided this
matter. I am sorry but I must ask them to return to their home."
"Hadji," she pleaded, "Let me tell them, it might be easier. Now I
know with your American ideals it might be hard to consider now, but
please be more open minded in the future."
"I will try mother." She gave a sad smile and left. Hadji went to
the balcony and looked at the elephant coming towards the palace. The
woman he was betrothed to looked mean. She wore a small top and baggy
pants. Similar to that Disney character He thought. But her outfit was
purple with magenta flowers and her eyes were a blue/violet color. Very
beautiful, if Hadji didn't already dislike her. She was about five years
older than him. Yet still very beautiful, her father was probably trying
to hurry and marry her off. Neela went to the elephant as they came off.
She made pleading gestures and the woman nodded. The man looked upset.
Neela made gestures to come inside and they walked in. Neela saw him and
smirked.
"This is my son, Hadji, Sultan of Bangalore."
"A pleasure to meet you." She said. Her voice was graceful and
charming. Not so different from the character she looked so similar too.
"My name is Arabia." She continued, "And this is my father Razim,
Sultan of Junzar." Razim shook his hand firmly. "A pleasure." He said
roughly.
"Yes. I am sorry but I would appreciate it if you left. My mother
gave me no notice."
	"Your mother planned this."
"I know and I am sorry about the confusion, if you wish you may
stay the night to rest."
"Thank-you, we will take you up on that." Arabia said. She smiled
coldly. Soon they left and Hadji was alone in the great throne room. He
let out a long sigh. He went to his room and found some clothes he never
wore much, a white T-shirt, a pair of ratty stone washed jeans he guessed
Jonny accidentally put in his suit case, and a old pair of sneakers, he
guessed Bandit put in there. He put them on and looked in the mirror. He
looked normal, not like a sultan at all, though there was still one thing
missing. He rubbed his head. He remembered the turban and took it off.
Taking out the bun underneath too. His hair reaching his shoulders.
Quickly running a brush through it he put some water on his hair, to look
like he was in the sun all day. He quietly left the palace, as soon as he
reached the courtyard a pair of guards through him out. The disguise
worked. Again the Disney cartoon came into his head, he was trying to
leave the palace to escape betrothal.
"Fate is a strange master." he mumbled to himself. He was
beginning to wonder if he would meet a beautiful street urchin and marry
her.
It was nice to stroll through the streets and know that you were
far away from any problems. He saw the palace, grand to be sure, but a
dark side as well, like all living things. He went down an alleyway,
avoiding any straying eyes and sat down to meditate.

	"So, where are we Puck?"
"I... have... no idea. But its more fun that way." he turned
upside down in a sitting position.
"More fun for you." She mumbled. She looked around and saw a large
and elaborate palace. Some dark skinned people passed by wearing turbans.
	"I'm guessing were in India."
"Sounds logical to me. I hate logic."
"Hush." She looked around and saw a young man, similar to the
rest. Asleep, she guessed.
	"The perfect victim!" Puck whispered.
	"Puck no!" she said.
	"Why not?" he whined.
"He's a Magic. Well he has some Magic in him, diluted, but there.
I'd say in his heir, unless his mate is a magic, the child would have no
trace left of his Magic ancestry."
"Poor kid, his probably never been to Avalon."
	"Why don't we take him?"
"He's part human! Are you mad?"
"No... but think of the fun." she smirked, hitting Pucks weakness.
Puck looked a little confused.
"Oh well, with or without your help I'm bringing him, and he won't
remember a thing, I promise... I wonder how strong his magic is-"
"Fine, fine, lets get this over with." he muttered.
"No!" she yelled just as she was about to transport them all to
Avalon.
	"What?!" Puck cried.
"Stupid Flute!" She yelled. "I have to go. Don't do anything to
him you hear me?" she yelled as she slowly disappeared into the shadows.
"Hm, touchy, must be that time of the millennia." he muttered. He
looked at the young man. "So, I can't have any fun with you huh? Well
there are billions of mortals, besides, you look boring." He saw a man
pulling at a camel that wouldn't budge.
"Now THAT could be fun!" he yelled as he went over to the camel,
soon doing the can-can.
