Angela looked around in her prison, just like her room, only wooden walls, instead of gray brick. And the window was open to a rising sun. "Too easy." she said and imagined herself outside the palace. She opened her eyes, surprised she was not where she wanted, magic was a reflex, and the muscle didn't budge. She stood up. Her ankle healed. She looked over the side to a valley of pines. "Am I on earth?" she wondered as she looked out at the open sea. She looked towards the forest and saw some movement. Focusing her eyes she saw a white buck. She was in Avalon all right. She looked at the night stand, two pictures laid on the table. One of Hadji and one of Steven. She picked up the picture of Steven and threw it out the window. Then she picked up the picture of Hadji. "Nor Man or Magic, yet just as well." she sighed and put down the picture. She looked around and tried to examine the situation. Letting her mind think and just watching it. No magic. No doors. A window. Jump from the window. Die. Has this situation happened before? Yes. Reference? Rapunzel. Did she escape? Yes. How? Climbed down hair. Can I climb down hair? No. No food. Starve. No, I won't starve, Steven wants me alive. Can I con Steven. Not likely. Now one part worked on conning Steven while the other looked for another escape. She closed her eyes to make the process faster. Yet to no avail. "I am NOT a Damn Rapunzel!" she yelled. Steven came through a wall as if it didn't exist. "Yes you are... without the hair anyways, I can fix that." And changed her into a white skinned and blonde haired girl. "Something missing..." And he changed the eyes to a blue color and put some flowers in her hair. "NOW your Rapunzel!" he laughed. She looked at her hair, now flowing everywhere in a long blonde braid. "I don't do blonde." she muttered. "Too bad." he laughed. "Well I've always liked red hair..." his voice trailed as the long blonde hair shortened and darkened first to orange at waist length then into a full blown red head as it reached just below her ears. The long pink dress shortened and divided into a bright green top and short black mini skirt. Her skin a delicate cream color still. "What a man. You take my powers, leaving me helpless and you still want me to love you!" She stated. "I don't want you to love me, I can make you do that..." his voice growing colder as her continued. She started to become, genuinely scared. Soon she lost feeling to every part of her body, not a numb... like a loss. She looked out of eyes looking in directions she didn't want to look at. She felt her frown disappear into a sly smile. "NO!" she screamed. No one could hear her. His smile became colder. "See what I can do? Do you see my power now?" Her feeling returned to her, in shock she collapsed, a side affect of the spell. "Tyger tyger burning bright...." she muttered. He looked at her "What are you doing?!" "In the forest of night." A smack greeted her left cheek, she continued un wavered. "What immortal... hand... or... eye..." she yawned as sleep consumed her. Steven straightened his tie absentmindedly. "How, in Oberon name, did she figure out that was my item? A simple poem..." He shook his head and put a gag over her mouth, making sure she wouldn't talk. He looked out of the window and saw a flash from the corner of his eye. "So, Puck brought them here... I have some tricks up my sleeves and I don't trust the help to help, they always screw up." He muttered and disappeared. Hadji followed Puck through the woods. "The forest of Lore. "Puck said. A fairy danced near Jessie. She opened her palm to it and it landed gently. "Amazing." she said as she stared at the small creature. "Just as amazing as a housefly." Puck muttered, "Did I mention I need to get some bug spray?" Jessie scowled at him and returned her attention to the fairy. "Can you talk to them?" "Sure, they just babble though." "Do not!" a tiny squeak muttered. Jessie looked at the fairy. It stood up in her hand with its delicate arms on her hips. "Do too!" Puck said, "You'll be the first I spray when I get some Raid." "Meanie!" it shot back. "Pest!" Puck said as he wandered through the woods. "The tower is THAT way!" it said and pointed west. "I believe the fairy." Jonny said. "Watch it Blonde boy or I'll make you a fairy!" Jessie laughed at the thought of Jonny as a fairy, and not the little winged kind. The fairy flew up to the top of Jessie's hair and began to make a tiny braid. "Just like a fairy, always turning their attention to the females." Puck muttered. The fairy dropped the little braid and flew to Jessie's ear and whispered something. Jessie started to laugh. "What's so funny?" "Nothing." Jessie tried to hold a straight face. She didn't and the fairy went back on the top of Jessie's hair, satisfied. After a while they started to tire. It had been hours since they arrived and nothing came up. "I am sick of this." Puck stated. "Why don't you just zap us there?" Jonny asked. "Because I don't know where it is." "Oh." "We need transportation..." he trailed, looking at the mortals that followed him... each suitable for a transformation, mortals were the easiest to transform. "Do I have a volunteer?" "A WHAT?!" Jonny said. "Or I could just change you all... into what I don't know yet. I was thinking dragon, then we could ride them." The fairy whispered into Jessie's ear "Adele thinks Puck should change." "Like I'm listening to a fairy." "Adele?" "Yes Adele, that's her name." "Oh." "Maybe a griffin... no I would need two at least." Puck said to himself. Benton looked towards the setting sun. "Its getting dark, whatever it is it might need night vision. "Ya, ya, brainiac." Puck mumbled. He was not happy when he couldn't find a trick or two to his advantage... He looked at the small army behind him. "Brainiac." he thought, " Very useful. Knows a lot about our kind. Blonde boy. Is fun to shape change. Red neck. Or would the term 'Muscles' suit him better? All brawn, some brain. Towel boy. Some magic, Angela weakness. Who would of thought..." he returned his thoughts to the others. "Red head... YES! I have found a trick!" he thought. He turned and looked at Jessie. "You know, you look A LOT like Angela... do you mind a little shape change? Don't worry Muscles, she would be fine, nothing like what I did to hormone boy." Race looked at him with a straight face. Making Puck uneasy, but continued. "Look, you could be our ace. He thinks Angela is off... somewhere. A tower right? Probably hidden good. But if he sees you here, as Angela... It might work." She saw the concern in the others faces, determining her choice. "Sure, why not?" she said. "Yes!" Puck said. Jessie felt a tingle around her. "Okay, now you and Angela are a lot alike, that will help. Be VERY stubborn to Stevie. He'll expect that. More than usual. Cover ANY fear you have of him with a smart remark. Angela loves doing that. He might hurt you..." he said quieter, "He hates it when Angela does that macho shit. But if you don't do it he'll see through us, and we will all be worse off. You can back off now and we can think of something else." Race shifted uneasily. So did Jonny. Benton gave her a 'are you sure?' look. Hadji looked determined as he gazed towards the sun, ignoring her. She understood so she didn't care. "Yes, I'm sure." she said, a little surprised her voice sounded so different, yet so similar. "Okay. Now you need some magic, just enough so he believes it. you'll be tapping it straight from Avalon, I'm just giving you the spout." he said. Another strange sensation shot through Jessie, but the power that came with it was incredible! Like an electric surge... without the pain. She sighed as it tampered. "Okay we are ready." Puck grinned. "Wait. Why can't you do that magic stuff with us? I mean if you can do it to Jess-" "Blonde boy, if I could don't you think I would? There are reasons I can't do that. And its too detailed to go into right now. Jessie, I think with Angela's voice, if you called him he should come running." he said deviously. Jessie took a deep breath. Hoping for the best. "Steve!" she cried.
