     Jonny peacefully closed his eyes. It was a warm summer day, and
everything was just right. He gently swayed in the white cotton
hammock. The trees above and to the side kept out the hot summer sun.
The sky was a clear blue, and birds and butterflies darted in and out of
the trees. He took in a deep breath and^
     had a face to face meeting with the ground.
     "Oh, I^m sorry, was this reserved?" Rathika jumped into the net,
her feet kicking Jonny.
     He stood up, and brushed off his dirty clothes. "As a matter of
fact^"
     He leapt back in. "^it was."
    He grabbed Rathika^s upper arms, and tried to shove her back out.
Laughing, she put up a resistance, and the two friends struggled for a
awhile.  Then Jessie jumped in.
     Rathika and Jonny both tried to shove her out, but she smacked them
with the pillow she had rescued from the ground.
    "hey!" Jonny tried to grab it. Jessie pulled back, and it ripped,
cotton going everywhere.
    The three burst out laughing, and smeared the cotton in each others
hair and faces. They were laughing, and play shoving the hammock when

::OMPH!!!!!!!::

The hammock over turned, and the three lay on the ground. Hadji climbed
in and closed his eyes. He rested his head on his arms.
      "Hey!" Jonny protested. Jessie and Rathika both leapt back in and
sat on their Indian friend. Jonny grabbed the hammock, and started
swinging it wildly to the delight of his three friends.
     After a bit of shoving, pushing, and hands and legs everywhere,
everyone was inside the hammock. They lay there together, resting in
the gently swaying motion. No one spoke. They all closed their eyes,
and^

::CRASH!!::

The trees had bent a bit to far and broke. The rope had frayed away,
and the hammock collapsed on the ground. Giggles and laughter greeted
this new situation, as they helped each other up.
      "Well, there goes the hammock." Jonny said sadly. "It was fun
while it lasted."
      "Not as much fun as this!" Jessie shouted. "Tag!!!"
      She slammed her hands into a surprised Hadji^s back. Jonny and
Rathika darted away.
      Hadji took up the chase.
