The Biography of Hadji Singh
When Hadji  was eleven years old, he was adopted by Dr. Quest
when the Quest Team was visiting Calcutta, India. Hadji saved
Dr. Quest's life following an assassination attempt, and with
the help of Pasha the Peddler, all were able to escape and
Hadji was able to return to America with the Quests (Calcutta
Adventure).  At sixteen years of age, Hadji has a vision that
Pasha was trying to kill him at age four (while using Dr.
Quest's memory projector), and Hadji learns that he is Sultan
of Bangalore, but had to be taken from the palace because
Hadji's uncle ordered him killed following the death of his
father, Haresh (Bloodlines). Over the years, Pasha went from
place to place with Hadji, while his mother Neela attempt-
ed to find him without success. Eventually, Hadji's cousin
Vikram became Sultan, and imprisoned Neela and Pasha. Foll-
owing Hadji's vision, the Quest team went to Calcutta in search
of Pasha and some answers, only to find Pasha's shop ransack-
ed. The Quest team found their way to Bangalore Palace, where
they were imprisoned, and Hadji was reunited with his mother.
They were able to escape, Vikram was killed, and Hadji took
his rightful place as Sultan of Bangalore, but left his mother to
rule in his absence when he returned to America with the
Quests.
